Favourite Perfumes

I absolutely love everything about perfumes, from the way they smell to the packaging. The four perfumes I chose as my favourite perfumes smell, look, make me feel amazing and are very diversified in every aspect.

Marc Jacobs Daisy: Its no doubt that when Daisy came out everyone got very excited and had to get their hands on this perfume, and is now one of the most universally loved perfumes. From the packaging to the smell this perfume is definitely one of my favourite perfumes ever. I absolutely love the smell, it smells very elegant and fresh. It's floral and adds a bit of maturity to it. It reminds me of flowers and clean linens on a breezy spring day when all of the new plants are beginning to sprout buds. The only thing i don't like about Daisy is the price, however the price didn't stop me from buying it and i'm so glad that it didn't.

Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy: Like all Britney Spears perfumes Midnight Fantasy smells amazing. It smells so different to any other perfume I own. It has a very sexy smell and I wear it every time I go out. It smells like blueberries and is very strong so I can see why some people dislike it, however if your like me and love fruity smells definitely purchase it as it's not to expensive either.

CK one Shock: This perfume is edgy, sexy, impulsive and an electrifying fragrance. Shock has girly yet edgy packaging with a simple white but has a slight pop of colour in an edgy font. Its fruity fruity, sweet and is a perfect scent for the summer.

Christina Aguilera: This scent is absolutely luscious. I love the sweet and fruity notes in this scent layered on the floral bouquet and balanced with vanilla and amber as it is as irresistible as it is feminine. I also adore the packaging. I love the lace details, and the concept of it was to make it in the shape of a woman's body. The fragrance it isn't 'too much' vanilla or 'too much' fruit or floral, its spot on.

Review: Make Up For Ever - HD Foundation

Firstly let me start of by saying that this is my favourite foundation in the entire world. I purchased the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation in Sephora when I was in New York, September 2013 and it lasted me until January 2014. I think the foundation is around $40, however I'm not entirely sure. A lot of people may think $40 is quite expensive however in Australia that is pretty cheap for such a great foundation.

I love that the foundation comes with a pump, as its the easiest way to get the product out and apply it on your face. The very first few times i applied this foundation I absolutely hated it, and I had no idea why. I started watching more and more Youtube Videos and saw that someone pumped the foundation on their finger and then applied an even amount on each part of their face. Then using a Real Techniques buffing brush, blended the foundation in their skin. I found that this method worked perfectly and then I began to adore this foundation.

The foundation is a medium to full coverage, and gives me a flawless finish. I love that it gives such a great coverage but still feels light on my skin as if I'm wearing close to nothing on my face. As I have oily skin this foundation worked perfectly as the lady in Sephora told me it was a product that would work best for people with oily skin which was just another reason why I loved this product as I had been trying to find a foundation for oily skin for so long.

I would recommend this product to absolutely anyone with oily skin looking for a foundation that feels light but gives a great coverage and I cant even put into words how much I adore this foundation it is literally the best thing in the world!

Review: Bioderma Crealine H2O

Bioderma is one of the most raved about products on the internet. All beauty bloggers seem to adore this product, so you could see why i had to get my hands on it. Unfortunately, Bioderma is not sold in Australia so i had a look on Ebay and ordered myself one. It was around $30, which is a pretty good price considering the prices of skincare products in Australia are a lot more expensive.

I purchased the 500ml bottle, and I have never been so excited to take my makeup off before. It felt so gentle and sensitive on my skin, almost like water and felt very refreshing. I soaked a cotton pad with the solution and applied it all over my face and eyes. Although it take all my face makeup off it didn't take all my eye makeup off and i did have to extensively rub my eye until it came off.

I still prefer Bioderma to a lot of other makeup removers even keeping in mind that it doesn't remove all my eye makeup because it doesn't leave my skin feeling heavy or oily as a lot of other makeup removers do such as the MAC makeup remover, which leaves me unable to see properly for around 5 minutes after use.

As you can see in the photos above how well Bioderma removes the makeup off your skin incredibly well and I can see why it is raved about all over the internet and is definitely a product I will be repurchasing many times.

Until next time,

Review: Soap & Glory Review

If you live in Australia, like me you will be aware of how difficult it is too find nice smelling and affordable body products. In the summer holidays I took a trip to Singapore and Thailand and stumbled across a Sephora in Singapore. My eyes lit up and I was so thrilled to see it because we don't have a Sephora in Australia. As I was walking around I came across Soap and Glory and Products and was immediately drawn to the vintage packaging, and ended up buying 6 products; 4 for myself and 4 for my mum.

Breakfast Scrub: Breakfast Scrub is one of those products that you could sit and sniff all day. It's made with organic cupuacu, bio scrubs, bananas, almond and honey extracts, and just the smallest amount will leave you smelling amazing. It feels really gentle on your skin, however really effective at exfoliating, leaving my skin smooth and rejuvenated.

Sugar Crush: This body wash is the perfect citrusy smelling body wash I have ever used. Combined with lime oil, coolcapsule, kiwi juice water, skin softening omega-rich veggie oil, makes the most amazing smelling and natural product.

Foam Call: This product is a medium to thick consistency that will sit on your skin for a really long time. I felt as if my skin was properly moisturised after use, which i don't find in most body washes.

The Daily Smooth Body Butter: Containing rose hip seed oil and cocoa butter this moisuriser smelt gooood! I applied the body butter before i got into bed and when I woke up the next morning i could still smell it and my skin felt incredibly soft.
