SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS

Here is a glance at my experience at Splendour

Favourite Eyeliners

The best part of putting on makeup everyday is putting on liquid eyeliner. Although putting on liquid eyeliner can be a pain in the ass, once its mastered you feel like you can never leave home without it. My top three liquid eyeliners vary from different shapes, and wand sizes and are individually amazing liners and help me create the perfect wing

Sephora: The Sephora liquid eyeliner was so unusual at first glance. I had never seen any liquid eyeliner shaped like this before, however it is incredibly clever, as it sits on your hand allowing putting on liquid liner on that much easier. This liner glides on so smooth and I find myself finishing both eyes in half a minute.

Eyeko Eye Do: The first thing that automatically drew me to this liner was that Alexa Chung helped create this liner, and we all know just how perfect her liner is everyday. The first time I ever tried this liner i immediately had the perfect wing. The liner is so black and the wand is very thick allowing you to create bold wings. I usually wear this liner when going out as it creates as bolder wing.

Loreal Super Liner - Perfect Slim: This liner is very easy to use and I would recommend it to beginners. The wand is very slim and allows your to create very simple and classy looking wings. The packaging colours of black and gold also make the liner look very high end, however it is a drug store product. I wear this liner on a casual day out as it gives a very simple effect but still draws attention to your eyes.

Art Show

On Wednesday night I went to a small gallery called The Tate in Glebe for a student artist exhibition. The artists name was Luschia Porter. Her works are so unusual and quirky and she uses a pastel colour palette which I absolutely adore.

Weekend Adventures

This weekend I went on a few little adventures in Glebe, City and Surry Hills. I went to glebe markets, a protest for the refugees to be allowed in Australia and slept over at a friends house in Surry Hills.

Favourite Perfumes

I absolutely love everything about perfumes, from the way they smell to the packaging. The four perfumes I chose as my favourite perfumes smell, look, make me feel amazing and are very diversified in every aspect.

Marc Jacobs Daisy: Its no doubt that when Daisy came out everyone got very excited and had to get their hands on this perfume, and is now one of the most universally loved perfumes. From the packaging to the smell this perfume is definitely one of my favourite perfumes ever. I absolutely love the smell, it smells very elegant and fresh. It's floral and adds a bit of maturity to it. It reminds me of flowers and clean linens on a breezy spring day when all of the new plants are beginning to sprout buds. The only thing i don't like about Daisy is the price, however the price didn't stop me from buying it and i'm so glad that it didn't.

Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy: Like all Britney Spears perfumes Midnight Fantasy smells amazing. It smells so different to any other perfume I own. It has a very sexy smell and I wear it every time I go out. It smells like blueberries and is very strong so I can see why some people dislike it, however if your like me and love fruity smells definitely purchase it as it's not to expensive either.

CK one Shock: This perfume is edgy, sexy, impulsive and an electrifying fragrance. Shock has girly yet edgy packaging with a simple white but has a slight pop of colour in an edgy font. Its fruity fruity, sweet and is a perfect scent for the summer.

Christina Aguilera: This scent is absolutely luscious. I love the sweet and fruity notes in this scent layered on the floral bouquet and balanced with vanilla and amber as it is as irresistible as it is feminine. I also adore the packaging. I love the lace details, and the concept of it was to make it in the shape of a woman's body. The fragrance it isn't 'too much' vanilla or 'too much' fruit or floral, its spot on.

Until next time
